Expansion to Damascus, OR NOW OPEN! May 2013
Absolutely Magic Dog Training has recently expanded from Gresham to Damascus, OR! (Just East of Portland)
At our new facility located at the corner of Hwy 212 & Sunnyside Rd we now offer Canine Daycare, Medical Day Boarding, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Private Lessons, Private and Event Rentals.
Our facility is on nearly 2 acres of completely fenced property that houses two large buildings.
The main building is fully enclosed and insulated. Rubber matted floors for safety and cleanliness, secure fences and gates. This building is where Daycare, Medical Day Boarding, Obedience, and Rally classes take place as well as some private lessons.
The back building is designated for agility training. Fully enclosed and secure with a stable dirt floor. Full set of agility equipment available for classes or practice.
Daycare at Absolutely Magic is more then just playing with friends. Being dog trainers we understand the need for dogs to have proper socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation. During your dog's stay with us they will practice appropriate dog social skills, will be encouraged to maintain good behavior skills, and maybe learn something new.
Medical Day Boarding is geared toward post surgical, post trauma, and geriatric pets. We have over 12 years of veterinary experience and are comfortable sling walking, range of motion exercises, administering medications, and making sure your pet is clean, happy, and healthy during their day time stays with us. After seeing owners spending thousands of dollars on medical procedures and then not being able to provide adoquite aftercare to their pets we wanted to offer a solution. We understand the need to work and leave your pet at home after costly procedures and we want to help protect your pet from further injury.
Have an event you want to hold? We rent out for clubs, private use, and community activities! Weather you want to hold a fun match, trial, club meeting, or community event we may have the facility that suits your needs.
We have a variety of instructors for many of your dog training needs, and are adding more as we go. Owners Barbara Stewart and Amanda Gross teach agility classes, hold private lessons, and facilitate rentals. Amy Smith teaching basic/companion obedience classes as well as CGC/Puppy STAR, and Rally classes.
